Planning my trip to Roatan
After getting laid off, I was seeking out a way to disconnect from reality and spend about a week off the grid. With the gloomy Bay Area weather this entire year so far, I desperately have been seeking a destination that lends to my skin being kissed by the sun every day, sand between my toes, and an adventure that I have yet to experience before. The obvious answer was to get my butt over to an island.
Lucky for me, my PADI certification was completed this past year so I’m able to enjoy ocean life by way of scuba diving all around the world. Word on the street is Roatan, Honduras is the best in the world for indescribable underwater signtseeing. This was my opportunity to dive right in! …get it? Dive.. right in? Like, scuba dive? 🤿
Okay, dad jokes aside, I’ve been begging to get out to the island for awhile now and finally have the spring break opportunity to spend some unobligated time under the sea! Here’s a brief look into some of the research that went into planning my trip to Roatan.
